ISLAMABAD, Jul 24 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday set aside the decision of chief commissioner ICT for withdrawal of permission to PTI for holding p
rocession in federal capital.
The court declared that the application of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would be considered as pending with the district administration.
It instructed the ICT administration to decide the request with the cogent reasons. Chief Justice Aamer Farooq issued a five-page written order on the petition.
The court said that as per the order of chief commissioner office, the NoC for PTI p
rocession was withdrawn due to Muharram and added the office didn’t intimate to any representative of PTI before cancelling the permission.
